HFP Bible study provides participants the opportunity to learn more about God's word so that we can live out its message more fully. The group uses a prepared commentary and discussion questions to aid in their reflection. Past studies have covered the Acts of the Apostles, the gospels of Mark and John, the Psalms, Exodus, the captivity letters of Paul, the Way of Justice and Peace, and the Passion and Resurrection Narratives of Jesus. The group is currently considering the concept of suffering as they study the book of Job.
Bible study meets on Sunday evenings about twice a month. Our time together begins at 6 pm and continues for approximately an hour and a half. Together we pray, learn from one another through discussion, and find out more about the topic at hand. Locations for the meetings rotate among the church sites. For more information on Bible study or its next meeting time, please see the bulletin or contact Beth Anne McDaniel.
